Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles... no, this isn't Princess Bride but it sure has everything!

SAO was on my 'must watch' list and it has not failed to live up to expectations. Artwork, animation, dialog, it's all amazingly well done. I'm breaking my own rule again but even without having seen the last few episodes I'm loving this series...

I will admit it took me about 3 episodes to get the hang of the time jumping between episodes and I've just had to ignore the fact (unless it was explained and I missed it) that somehow these people are hooked up to a virtual reality world and their bodies are surviving in the 'real world'... but hey this is fiction and great fiction at that.

Finally a hero who is tough, and well, heroic. Bravo! Add to the copious amounts of action, a healthy story line, an interesting background world, and ROMANCE and you've truly got a masterpiece in the making.

Sword Art Online really delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!
