Ignore the title, that is just in my opinion. However, i truly do think that this is a spectacular anime. A lot thinks its thats the ideas and animation are childish and they're right, it is, but once you learn to get past that and look at the concepts and amazing story-telling you will find yourself watching episode after episode on endless nights.
I personally found this to be a much more enjoyable experience then watching the more popular animes like naruto and bleach mainly because the story in those animes to me just can't even compare because One Piece has sadness, laughter, adventure, imagination and of course, action.
if you're watching from the beginning, the animation will seem kinda crappy but keep watching and it gets better season after season. That in itself is proof that the show got more and more popular because they were able to pay for better animators. and shows don't get popular by themselves.
