Characters are very likable. (Erza is my fave female anime character). There's no basic story, it keeps shifting from one arc to another. Unlike One Piece or Naruto the characters don't seem to have a goal,but all characters have their own past and their own stories to tell which are worth the watch.
Each character has a magic ability. The fight scenes between mages are worth watching. The anime is very enjoyable and the comedy is also good.
OVERALL - Go ahead and give this anime a shot. I'm sure you'll enjoy it ;)

I gotta say for a long time I did not watch this as the title made it sound like it wouldn't be interested. However one day took a chance and I gotta I love it. It would be one of top animes but is it high up there. It is very comical but the fights balance it out very nice.

Well as you can see the voting I have done . The story is average but it's not so satisfying like naruto or one piece or even bleach . I'm not anyone to criticize the story as there are very much hardcore fairy tail fans around the globe and i don't want to write something which will hurt any fans out there . Well people have their own choices . I want the story to develop into something much better .
