This anime may just be a fighting anime but it is a great anime nonetheless and one of my all-time favorites. There is some amazing depth to every aspect of the anime. It has action, comedy, drama, as well as some romance. You don't have to know anything about fighting and the author expects that from the viewer as it teachers you throughout the anime about the basics as the character grows and learns them himself. Some of the dialogue can falter her and in other places but it shouldn't stop you from enjoying this anime.

The animation is solid. And I found it highly entertaining and found myself watching 4 episodes at a time easily. Some of the comedy is a bit perverted but that should be expected of these types of characters and it just adds to the depth of the characters.

If you decide to watch this, I would recommend looking for the other half of the anime under "Grappler Baki" here. Or in other places known as "Baki the Grappler 2" or "Grappler Baki 2". (show less)
