| Summary: |
Every child has an egg in their heart, unseen at first, an egg with the would-be self of their dreams. Hinamori Amu, part of a group called the Guardians, protect those eggs from becoming x-eggs, eggs filled with resentment and resignation that gives children troubles. Amu's job is to capture and restore x-eggs to their orginal form. She does this with the help of her three Shugo Chara (guardian characters or her would be selves), Ran, Miki and Su. Thanks to them she can change her character and abilities, and so fight against the mysterious organization Easter which aim is to find a special egg called Embryo using the x-eggs. |

I wasn't very keen fan when I watched first episode, but after lots of episodes, the fan of this serie was born. I absolutely love the characters, my personal faves are Amu, Ikuto, Tadase and Kuukai, but I like all the others too.

This is the kawaii first season of the Shugo Chara! series. It's a really upbeat and fun-to-watch anime for mahou shoujo + romance fans. As many of mahou shoujo animes do, this anime is somewhat plagued with too much repetition, but it manages to keep a nearly constant rolling storyline with interesting pieces of the plot and cute romance. It's quite worth the time, if you settle down and try to enjoy it.
