So don't compare it to anime or the manga.. as long as it doesn't part so away from the original story then its fine.

If you guys had watched the anime or read the manga, come on and watch this one. Its quite promising, and Haruhi is kinda cute in the series.

They found the most suitable actor for baka-Tamaki, ~he is energetic, and his voices is a bit like Tamaki's
And Honey-sempai is soo cute!! Though he is not as short as he's suppose to be..
And they manage to find the perfect Hitachiin twins! They're so identical, and ridiculously funny.
Mori-sempai looks so blur and taciturn here,
And Kyouya-sempai is the coolest among them all!! I like him the most in this series, second the Hitachiin, and third Honey-sempai.

Remember the episode when they bothered Haruhi's part time work during summer? You guys should watch that one at least, there's some funny scenes.. (show less)

I think they did a great job with this live action adaptation! One thing though, I am disappointed in Hani-senpai's character/actor. It wasn't what I expected, I guess. Everyone else pretty much was exactly as pictured except maybe Tamaki's hair... Really weird actually. Maybe it's a wig. But I definitely suggest this for anyone who liked the anime series! Oh and I love that Nekozawa-senpai has a bigger role than in the anime! He's a great and really well thought out character. I love him in Karuizawa :). And it's great that Renge has a smaller role because I thought she wasn't really worth the time. But definitely watch it! I can't WAIT for the movie! (show less)

i'm a big ouran fan...of the anime version! wen i first watched the first ep of this live-action drama, i was like, "WTF HAVE THEY DONE TO TAMAKI?? " they have KILLED him. i cannot describe how upset i was to see this actor(whoever he is) acting like Tamaki n ruinin zat most special character on ouran! i now knw why people like Suou more zan Tamaki in the live-action drama... that's bkoz he is really more cool zan Tamaki in the Live-action drama! what happened to zat Tamaki whom i used to cherish so much? and WTF? suou with Haruhi? geez!!! Haruhi and Tamaki were meant for each other... zen why are all the people watchin the live-action drama youpiing abt Suou and Haruhi?? God... why???? I want my Tamaki BACK! (show less)
