| Summary: |
At a top music academy in Japan, Shinichi Chiaki's arrogance is matched only by his top-notch piano playing. But when Chiaki and the teacher get into a fight, he's demoted to the reject class. Chiaki is left to pursue his dream of being a conductor while surrounded by a bunch of loser musicians and one annoying girl, Noda, who has proclaimed herself Chiaki's girlfriend. It doesn't help that Noda, who insists on being called Nodame, lives right next door to him. |

after watching this anime, I realize one thing that it's fine to be weird *LOL* its music is awesome. characters are totally good. I wish it lasted a little longer :(

Just finished watching these episodes (and started downloaded the Paris and Finale ones ;-) )
This is a beautiful story of passion, dreams and love. The characters are well thought and their development along the story is great. The music is amazing! I learnt so much from this anime...just love it! Give it a try and... Enjoy! :D

Those who love music will got to like this anime. The story is about a boy name chiaki that want to be a conductor. A lot of funny things happen when he was in the college. The music is also good to hear ;P It is about a life that he spend toward a dream of becoming a conductor. it is worth watching know ;)

This anime is amazing! It unites two of my passions - classical music and anime!!
This anime is fun to watch AND to listen too...I always wanted to watch this anime, but just didn't have the time :( but now, I really enjoy it.
Nodame is really enjoyable and cute, you just want to watch her grow and become someone great. Chiaki is the cool and untouchable type, but AMAZING :D
Let's see what the future holds for both of them!

I love this anime so. so. so much.
Its a brilliant mix of drama, comedy and romance.
The romance is there, but not so overbearing that it sways the plot line.
The animation isnt fabulous, but its soft and not too gaudy.
Not only does this anime have great characters and a very interesting plot, it is also a learning experince- you learn so much about classical music.
Truly such an experience- im so glad i had the pleasure to watch it.

I loved it! it has a nice story, it's funny made me laugh really loud at time :)) and the story progress smoothly, not too slow not too fast! and of course since I play musical instrument myself, it made it even more interesting for me. Just Great! ;) hope you enjoy as much as I did.

I was pleasantly surprised by this anime. It actually has quite a bit going for it and i found myself NOT getting bored waiting for the next progression in the story to arrive. Just about all of the characters are fun in their own unique way and there are very few that make it hard to watch. the animation does suffer quite a bit from alot of stills and holds but only because there are some beautiful scenes with top notch animation (you'll know right away when you see them). The best thing i found about this anime was the fact that it was about student ( read more)
