| Summary: |
Sana Hidaka returns to his hometown after 5 years away living in Tokyo. Although there are some changes to the town, most has remained the same. On a detour to his apartments, he notices a girl in a shrine maiden outfit watching him when he visits the shrine. He finds out, the next day at school, that this girl is actually Nanaka Yatsushiro, his old childhood friend whom he gave a bracelet to before he left, that she still wears, even to this day.
When he was a child, Sana Hidaka left his town, and his childhood friends Aoi, Nanaka and the twins Syou and Syuri held a farewell party, everyone giving presents to him. Then Sana, after five years, comes back to his town, where he'll meet his childhood friends again, but slowly discovering that some of them have changed while having deep troubles, so he'll try to do his best to help solving them. |

one of the first anime i watched. i was also the first anime i saw that that had some heavy theme for some of the characters to deal with. it also had meaning full or more believable resolution to the problem that the characters had and had music that can help you relax after such a heavy hit.

This is one of your typical slice of life, school animes. I thought that when I watched this, but it gets really interesting. It has an interesting turn of events and it made me wonder what's going to happen next. This is anime I would recommend to people who watch love/comedy/drama anime.

This anime follows the lives of a group of friends that are reunited when one of them returns after five years. There's some really good dialogue and funny moments but underneath all that humour there's a sense of secrecy and darkness- as the story develops the characters all have to come to terms with their secrets and their pasts. It's a very emotional and deep story, and a great watch if you're looking for something more serious.

At first, Myself; Yourself seemed pretty okay, maybe a sweet story that will have happy by the end of it. It turned out rather average, and left me a bit disappointed. Throughout the anime, the worst impression I got was that the anime suffered a scattered and random storyline. The momentum was half there, half not. The story itself would have been good, truthfully, but somehow, the layout of the series was a bit lacking smoothness, and it was choppy.
The small bits of the anime were quite okay, if you're looking for just another anime with a ( read more)
