overall, the story is good. the animation is good.
BUT!!!!
lucia's seiyuu is disappointing me!! the seiyuu seems like he/she just read the dialogues, not expressing the meaning of the dialogues!! and the VOICE is so not female!!! lucia's voice is like from nasal sound, not cute and so damn monotone with just a bit high and a bit low here and there.
who the hell is lucia's seiyuu??!!
this voice ruin every moment of lucia and kaito whenever they were alone. I kept imagining that lucia is a boy! damn seiyuu!!!!

It supposed to be 91 episodes in mermaid melody T_T i cant watch the others because the other anime site deleted the other episode of mermaid melody and there's raw episode in episode 70 and 90 T_T

i've watched both seasons of MMPPP. all i can say is that the story was actually predictable. it is good for those kids who wants comedy with romance. but one thing i love about this anime are its songs. the ending was just weird,i never understand it at all.

this is a very crappy shojo, considering shojos are usually bad shows. This anime does have its good moments but it is something that has to be built on very much, kind of how like the Naruto anime went from a bad first show to a more mature second show. this show could be alright for kids 6+ but older people should only watch it to waste time, or not watch it at all.

Story is awesome,quite interesting.Anime is perfect for all shojo anime fans,and even for those who dont like shojo wery much.I have always hated shojo anime,but after this one,I started to like them and wanted to watch them more...xD Charactes are higly developed and relationships between them are interesting.Some revelations during the story are fantastic and unexpected.Anime is also very funny and touching...Also 2nd season Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure is awesome.

This anime was one of the first anime i watched and the romance is very cute. i would recommend this to people who like animes like SHugo chara cause that's what the romance is like.
