| Summary: |
Goro's dream is to become a professional baseball player like his father. As he strives through the path towards the pro league, from infancy to adulthood, his passion for the game galvanizes all of those around him.
Shigeharu Honda is a Major Leauge batter on the rise. His son Goro is a Little League pitcher who one day hopes to follow in his father's footsteps. Momoko Hoshino is Goro's schoolteacher, and the first woman Shigeharu has been interested in since the death of Goro's mother. The destines of these three individuals will become intertwined as father and son experience both heartbreak and triumph on the baseball diamond. But when an unspeakable tragedy visits the family, it will take everything they have to pick up the pieces and reclaim their dreams. |

Why Oh Why - Do you have to write in such vulgar ways!!! Can't you just be neutral?!
We all love anime and we REALLY don't care if you like Naruto better than One Piece or Bleach or whatever!!! If you're just here to watch Naruto and trash all the other anime series (if you don't like them to begin with...don't watch them and don't give shitty reviews) then just go to a Naruto-Fan-Site - I BET THERE ARE SOME!!!

Don't take EVERYTHING personal...there are some reviews I don't agree with...so I just ignore them or vote: NOT HELPFUL!!!! And give my own review of the animes I like or dislike....IN A NEUTRAL WAY!!! Try it sometimes...maybe you'll get more points!
Now to Major:
Love the anime...I REALLY enjoy watching this one...Not like all the other animes where the hero always wins and has no problems...this one actually shows how difficult it can be to try to be the best! The characters are coming in all different shapes and they evolve throughout the series. If you enjoy watching sports-animes then you might REALLY enjoy this one! Give it a try and find out for yourself! :) ( show less)

one of the best sports anime ever, BTW if your gonna watch this, also watch cross game and ookiku furikabutte, but I liked Major so much more!!!

Everything was very good....
the story is very interesting and made me curious....
although the dialogue is a little rough but sometimes very funny....
very nice and smooth animation...
major, very entertaining at all because the story is sad, funny, romance, etc....
but the file is too large to be downloaded ....
why the file is not created in realmedia format????

This is one of the best animes i've watched. The story line is very good, following Goro through the start of his life/career and how it is played out is very good and was alot of fun to watch. Each of the episodes made me cheer for Goro to get better and beat all of his opponents and win it all.

I found Major 3 years ago and have watched every episode at least multiple times. It was the 1st sports Anime i had watched and i am glad i found it. Following Goro Shigeno from Childhood to becoming a Adult was great experience. I am very sad to see this series end. I will miss seeing the new stories every episode and following Goro in his Major League Career.

so why u must read this? ill explain.
this is 1 of the best anime series i have ever seen and i have seen alot.
the story is about goro who love to play baseball and the series is covering him since he was a little boy and after he grows up.
the animation is fantastic and the story is brilliant.
