Sumimura Yoshimori, a 14-year-old junior high school boy, is a descendant of Kekkaishi, or an exterminator of monsters He is vying for the heir to the family with Yumikura Tokine. Tokine is older than him, and she is his childhood friend as well as his rival Kekkaishi. To save people from the crises, and to make himself stronger, Yoshimori fights against monsters tonight, too. |

The anime is okay nothing special about it, very boring especially compared to Bleach and the action is lacking, the story is very average, the dialogue could be improved a lot. The animation is the only thing this anime has going for it in my opinion. It will however, provide some entertainment between watching different anime.

This show is very typical. Nothing great or amazing ever happens. I've kept watching in hopes of it changing, but I'm at episode 35 and it's still the same. They go to school in the day and kill demons at night, that's pretty much it. The story is extremely shallow to me. There isn't much depth to the characters either. I wouldn't recommend this anime, unless you have nothing better to watch. I will finish the show since I'm already so far into it... but this is one of the few anime shows where I don't get excited for the next episode.
