That is the overview of this anime. I finished this anime in 4 days, and I really REALLY should have stretched it out more! This series is SOOOO underrated! I mean, only 5 other reviews!? This anime NEEDS to be seen by more people.

This series answers the questions that came up from the first season. This season is much better than the first, and has more action and conflict, although it has less sadness. You COULD watch this season without watching the first. You wouldn't miss out on too much, but this story is at least 1.5x better and makes more sense if you do.

This anime falls into the category like Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica(which I recommend as well), where there are many different worlds due to the fact that someone keeps time traveling to prevent a fatal outcome. If you want suspense, as well as action, random very tiny bits of ecchi, violence, and even semi-deep friendships, then this is the perfect series for you. (show less)

In this season of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni the series loses its mysteries side but that's both a good and bad thing. I didn't experience the horror I felt in the first season but it was replaced by suspense.

All events I've seen so far were explained. It's fun to put the pieces together one by one untill you completely understand everything that has happened in Hinamizawa.
The enemy becomes visible and the main characters face them head on to change their destiny.

The animation is still as childish as it was in the first season but if you've watched that you should be used to it by now.

I never watched many episodes one after another. The story wasn't the best I've seen but I'm glad I now know all the secrets. (show less)
