The third season of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime. A continuation of the first 2 seasons under a new name, still adapting the online webcomics drawn by Himaruya Hidekaz.
Based on a popular web-released manga series by Hidekazu Himaruya, this has been described as a "cynical gag" story set in Europe in the years between WW1 and WW2 (1915-1939), using exaggerated caricatures of the different nationalities as portrayed by a gaggle of bishÅnen. For example, the Italia Veneziano character is into pasta and women. The Deutsche (German) bishi loves potatoes and sausages, and Nippon is an otaku boy. Installments of the manga have jumped back and forth in setting from the ancient times to modern-day geopolitics. The manga's title comes the Japanese words for "useless" (hetare) and Italy (Italia). |

Hetalia has taught me alot of history and is really funny! Some people dont like it just for the fact that its about history BUT thats their opinion ^_^'''' And unlike some anime, it didnt carry on to long to the point where it got boring. The Dub and Sub are both equally amazing! X3

This anime is really a unique one. Although the historical events are not in chronological order, I think it is very beneficial to those who are interested in world history. It gives us another view on World War using comedy. The animation is pretty colorful too.

Hetalia is an excellent anime that you can still watch it a few times and still find it funny especially when you're learning about World War II and other parts of history. If you find learning about WW2 boring this anime will make you want to learn and get you motivated (and possibly suggest your history to show during history). Eventhough it is one very funny anime, some people still find the sterotyping insulting (*cough**cough*Korea*cough*), so if you are deeply in love with your country, this anime is not for you.

When I first heard about it, was it... "What? Why are the episodes so short?" But when I started watching it... Have a whole first season past... I watched the whole season in one day and was so fond of it so I wanted to watch the next and now it is much more characters that are really fun

anyways Hetalia is great for people who basicly love crack, my favorite character is in the movie (Iceland) i loved this anime bcuz it was so random and taught me some things about History i never learned :o, this anime has a ga---er Yaoi overtone and since there is so many men, u can figure so many pairings lol.
