| Summary: |
After losing their mother, Alphonse and Edward Elric attempt to bring her back using the forbidden science of human alchemy. However, alchemy operates on the theory of equivalent trade, and breaking the human alchemy taboo carries a heavy price. Ed loses his leg, and Al loses his body. Ed is able to seal Al's soul inside of a huge suit of armor, at the cost of his arm. Years later, Ed (now with two mechanical limbs) and Al (still trapped in the armor) leave their childhood home, each brother concerned with the other's happiness. Ed, who has a natural talent and skill for alchemy, becomes nationally certified and is soon known everywhere as the "Fullmetal Alchemist." Their true objective is to search for any information on the fabled Philosopher's Stone, hoping it will allow them to regain their old bodies. All of their hopes rest with this mythical stone, which may not even exist at all. However, the brothers soon learn that they are not the only ones after the powerful stone. |

i kinda expected better of this show... the starting is just horrible and the comedy is so raw... i really dident like this show.. so i wouldent recomend it ... but if you like kapow and booom sort of show this may be the show for you...

Being a Bleach fan and ready to move onto another series I chose FMA. Unfortunately it has not grabbed me in the same way that Bleach did. The storyline seems a bit disjointed (I'm only up to ep 9) and the moments of explosive violence also seem to jar when they occur. I really hope it settles down into something better.

Only Averge, why ?
Meaby some of the other people don't agrre with me, but i read manga before watching this anime and... i am verry disipontment in story, they mix lot of thinks, rebuild story, i did't like it.
Animation wasn't bad or good it was Ok.
Fun for watching ?? First 4-5 episodes was really fun, but then i fealt that this anime will not be as good as manga, and it really destroy my mood.
Someone who didn.t read manga this anime will be good fun, but if you read manga i reccomend FullMetal Alchemist:Brotherhood
