This is the best of Dragonball Series. Good at story, characteristic, and good plot until finishing Gohan vs Cell.
Second ending song and Gohan's theme is good.
The weakness is fighting in Namek is too long and the main character changing from Gohan into Goku in middle way that make many useless episodes as prepare but worsen story. Gohan's costum in adult is suck. Other than these I think it really good.

Well the anime is full of fighting that one can't find in any simple martial art anime and the super saiyan thing is the best of all

ok bleach is really good and many good and unique ideas make it what it is but basically all thesse shows are rippoffs from dragonball. it will always be the greatest fighting anime. maybe its not the best show but its the first of its kind and because of it shows like naruto and one piece only exist

The first anime I ever saw growing up over 10 years ago, loved it then and still love it to this day! I didnt give it the highest score in story or dialogue because the magic of this show is just the charm and entertainment factor. You can watch this for hours and just feel so happy and good inside because its so charming and draws you in so you just start to care about the characters so much. The fight scenes are also another thing about this anime that its known for and they are great and alot of fun to watch. So great characters? Check. Awesome ( read more)

i agree that sometimes the fights can go on for ever, but i hate it when people exaggerate things like that, the ones i hate the most are when people say the characters spend multiple episodes powering up. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the people who say these types of things have never actually seen an episode and are just repeating what other people say because it makes them think they sound good

When talking about manga, anyone would think of Dragon Ball first. It is really a classic. I think that anyone has at least heard of it.
Dragon Ball is old but gold. Watch to it is really worth since it is somehow part of the basis of manga being published now.

This anime is considered a legend. imagine it was aired 22 years ago, but still watched and enjoyed by everyone, especially by kids. it doesn't have the best storyline compared to the new released animes, but it was the reigning anime ever created in the 90's. the authors are improving, as well as the taste of the viewers. we can't just watch the same superpower battle for 22 years.

Alright so first things first, Dragon Ball & DBZ are classic. Personally, I think them remaking it is just to milk the series for what pennies it has left. I am going to upload the entire series from Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball GT, I think these new ones are lame and lacking in what the original had. Not trying to bash anyone who watches them in any way so understand. Tis be my lame opinion. Moving onward yes the old ones took for ever in 20 episodes for someone to lift their finger! BUT, thats just one of it's quirks as with anything else and in ( read more)

Dragon Ball is one of the most popular anime series of all times, including Z. It is still the show that many reviewers actually use to judge other anime. Yes it does get a bit drawn out with filler but the story line is more compelling than almost any anime that has been released for years. This anime is over 20 years old and it is still a fan favorite. What other anime can say that? I have watched this anime several times and it is the sole reason I became a fan of anime in general.
