I watched this anime because I loved Saiyuki. Plain and simple. Right of the bat, you could tell that it was the same artwork, but not as stylized. It almost seems as if they didn't try as hard on this one, blowing it away in the dust as they raised Saiyuki up. And I think they made the correct choice. Bus Gamer is a good watch, if you are a fan of Saiyuki and it's characters, because they are very similar. The art leaves much to be desired, I've seen much better, and the story is full of holes. I've never read the manga, so that might go a bit further. Watch this if you're bored. (show less)
