This is pretty old, but animation is surprisingly solid, presentation of cyborgs (who looks scary in some parts) and cyberpunk world is ok, it's not too much impressive, it's a dark but with a lack of details. Action scenes have little slash & gore, but fights are too short. Music is the best, it's really melancolic, gives you a nostalgic feeling. Story is short with unpredictable ending. It could be made more better, only that was a little bit longer, characters would be more interesting if we have watched them in a more episodes.

I liked this OVA. Nice plot, nice characters(the bad guy was just oozing evil), nice setting and the animation was okay(I guess it was considered good for it´s time).If not for some 90´s cliches, this OVA could have been great. Also wish it had been a little longer.

Set in a distopian future reminiscent of H. G. Wells, consisting of an exaulted city in the sky that paracitically lives off the worshippers below. Add to this a beautiful fallen angel with no memory, forced to cope with the grimy reality of live on the surface, and you have a story with something for everyone. My only complaint is that there are only two of them so it seems to end just as you get into it.

It kinda old, its just an OVA, but it's great!
Great intro to the Battle Angel manga.

Classic Good Anime

this anime stands the test of time and delivers excactly what it did 17 years ago, A want for more. only a two parter of the introduction of the manga. the animation was good for the time and the story is pretty original. if you've never heard of or seen this you wont be dissapointed
