The story has no real Plot to speak of, simply interactions between the characters as the go through school. Entertaining slap-stick, but nothing of particular note.

this anime is the most funniest anime i ever seen ( Allmost missed my pants its so funny) Recommend it for all ages and the humor and characters and story line all fits together and makes one hell of a anime

A great amine! It's one of the first amine I have ever watched and it's very enjoyable for all age group. The story revolves around a group of girls, going to the same school whom then soon become close friends and experience school life together. Their different personalities varies and it's just so interesting to watch!

azumanga daioh is one of the anime that will keep your tummy aching from laughing. i just remember that despite the very haggard morning at school, just watching this anime relieves me all of my worries. it is really a stress reliever. i also love its ending, its very touching. i love it!

I read the whole manga (more like comics) before seeing the anime, and I have to say it really translates beautifully! I love this anime! Brings back so many memories of High school. I enjoyed the anime so much I went out and bought the DVD box set. Well worth the money~

If you're looking for a filler anime, then this is perfect. The story revolves around six girls and their everyday lives, but it's the personalities of these girls that makes the anime a really great watch. Each girl is different and each character adds to the story in some way. The dialogue isn't too bad and there are lost of funny and touching moments between the characters. It's a really simple anime but it's great for passing the time.

This is a somewhat slow and relaxed anime, but it's got a lot of witty humor and crazy stuff mixed with wacky female characters. There's also a lot of random stuff that can make you burst out laughing, and the facial expressions are hilarious. I would recommend this anime to anyone who wants to relax or watch an anime series that's not too long or too short. After all, this anime makes you smile!

I've been told the story is a little slow for some, but I disagree. I think the dialogue is well paced, and makes for some insanely funny moments. The animation is a little simple, but the characters are so lovable, it is forgiven. I love how well each character is handled. It doesn't feel like some characters are forgotten, and fall by the wayside, like some other anime where you end up wondering, hey what ever happened to--? It feels like you can really get to know all the main characters, and even the secondary ones.
