Summary:
Oz Bezarius, heir to one of the duke houses, has just turned fifteen. His life is rich and carefree, darkened only by the constant absence of his father. At his coming-of-age ceremony, however, everything changes. For no reason that he can discern, he's cast into the prison known as the "Abyss", only to be saved by a "chain" known as Alice, the bloodstained black rabbit. It is unknown why was he cast into Abyss, how does Alice factor into it all, and what does the organization known as "Pandora" want with him.

Watching Pandora Hearts is probably not unlike smoking a joint, having a few beers and then attempting to watch a cartoon.
The show is just so completely and utterly twisted and bizarre and yet, it's brilliant. The story is so strange and compelling, after every episode you are dying to know more.
The artwork is stunning and disturbing and beautiful. The music is amazing. The characters and relationships between them are deep and meaningful and compelling.
The only thing I will say is that the anime ends very abruptly solving almost nothing and there is no second season, so I suggest that you then move on to the manga.
However I think that watching this show is a valuable experience and will definately get you in the mood for wanting more and more.
