Summary: Macross Frontier marks the 25th anniversary of the Macross anime franchise. It is a direct sequel to the first Macross series and Macross 7 and follows the lives of Alto Saotome, Ranka Lee and a pop idol named Sheryl Nome on board the Macross Frontier colonization fleet. After the war against the Zentradi aliens, Humankind has spread across the universe in order to ensure its survival. The story were really well written even though we all know that they want to find a planet to colonized but got attacked by aliens. In the the end it all wrapped into a nice story. The love triangle, something that happens in all Macross series, are really nice and great. Except that they didn't tell who Alto choose between Ranka or Sheryle. In the first one macross Hikaru choose his flight girl, Macross seven the pink hair girl choose Bazira, Macross plus the pilot choose the older sister. In Macross frontier there wasn't a clear cut ending to the love triangle and who gets who.
Musics are really good and go with the situations. Animations were superb and conflicts are great.
All in all I love this show. Waiting for the movie!!!
