Summary: Following the line of the precedent OVAs (of the same name) This anime goes around the normal lifes of some elementary school (5th grade, 2nd class room) kids and their adventures, while turning to teens. Their games, stupid jokes, and the misunderstadings around their premature attraction to the opposite sex. Ryota Satou is the main character here, but his friends are almost as important as him since the school wouldn't be the same without them, specialy the girls who the majority of time appear to be mature by their ages but in the ends they are as childish and even more "dangerous" than the boys.

I wasn't sure about this one at first, there's just so many "kiddy" shows out there, but as I was bored I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did! This is actually a rather decent anime for adults reminiscing about their own lives as children, or for those who have kids in this age group. The misadventures and misunderstandings of kids "coming of age" are downright hilarious at times, rather well-written, and in several cases downright scary but true! The anime is a little rough around the edges, in that there is more detail during "intense" or "emotional" scenes, ie anger, than there is during the overall main part,in my own opinion, but it doesn't detract from the story at all. The dialogue sometimes seems a little off only in that sometimes the kids seem to use speech or mannerisms that are a bit more mature than the characters themselves. All in all, a very entertaining watch, as is the original 4 or 5 episode OVA it is based on! (not a spoiler but a warning:if you HAVE seen the original OVA, many of the scenes are episodes from it,however there are differences and more is added, making it well worth another watch!)
