I was utterly surprised by this.
I more or less was ready for something with fanservice and no plot, as most ecchi tends to be, but found myself interested. Sure, there's the typical fanservice (when she changes into her 'ass kicking' outfit, for instance) but the plot and characters pull you in. It isn't terribly original or ground breaking in premise, but I found myself chuckling along with the jokes, and eagerly watching the next episode.
Overall? An entertaining watch. You'll find yourself forgetting now and then that this is ecchi, though fanservice will quickly remind you, and even a few of my ecchi-shy friends enjoyed watching this. It may have a slight 'magical girl' feel to it, but there's enough action to remind you otherwise.
