main guy is accused for killing 29 ppl n is sent to a private prison Deadman Wonderland. The prisoners r equipped with a device on their neck which they must eat medicine/candy every 3 days in order to survive. its a suspense anime since u really hav no idea of whats going on, but so far its ok!
