Code Geass is (and I say this having watched and loved Naruto, Bleach and One Piece) the most intriguing and genius anime ever created, if you conbine Gundam and Death Note you might get a vague idea of how awesome this show is. The main character is the coolest guy to ever star in an anime, his story is one of saddness and the supernatural. He wants to change the world as well as having a personal vendetta all using his intellect and his new power of Geass. He leads a happy high school career while also a terrorist group (that are more like freedom fighters) in essence double life. It's an spectacular story of a man who slowly changes over time to meet his goal of changing the world, set in an vastly different future he takes his morals to the extreme. To sum it up the plot is brilliant, characters are funny and unique and the mecha are the most original I have ever seen. Amazing and entertaining don't go comparing it to shonen animes because Code Geass is an entirely different beast. A must see for anyone who enjoys anime(full stop). A word to the wise though, Season 2 starts at episode 26 (Not that it will lessen the confusion) Watch and enjoy!
