Summary: Moritaka Mashiro, a junior high school student, content to live out a relatively normal life as any other does, is persuaded by his classmate, Akito Takagi, to become an aspiring mangaka when the latter realizes his natural talent as an artist. However, Moritaka is reluctant to pursue his dream as his uncle, once a mangaka with his own serializations, died from overwork trying to regain his lost status. With Akito's help, Takagi gets another classmate and his school crush, Azuki Miho, who is an aspiring voice actress, to voice in the anime adaptation of their future manga once it is completed. However, Mashiro also proposes to Azuki, who surprisingly accepts only on the condition she will marry him when both of them have achieved their dreams. With a goal set before him, Mashiro begins a long and struggling path to become a famous mangaka.

It's not bad, I've never seen an anime like this, the animation is really good, characters are enjoyable and different, the main male/female relationship of the story is really awkward but you kind of understand it and are resassured at moments in the anime when there might be a tinge of doubt between the 2. The surprising part is which could spoil the entire series if you read this next part ***How they create and draw manga yet you only see a glimps of the art and basically a summary of the entire plot they worked countless hours on***** And it still keeps me watching it. Maybe its just a one of those "I'm bored but overall story is interesting enough to keep me watching" animes. Overall isn't all that bad. It motivated my curiousity and passion for ideas, but on the same coin if a concept is done in this anime that hasn't been done before, then you actually see an anime or manga based off some of the ideas in this, it could desensitise the sensation of 'Never before"! a little. I guess for using Jump in this it's to be expected I'm just still shocked at how much they used 'One Piece' 'Naruto' 'Bleach' 'Dragonball' in this, not used to animes doing that.
