Minami Itsuki never thought about seriously riding Air Treck motorized roller blades, until he got his butt handed to him by a street gang of Storm Riders. That day, he discovered in a locked up room, a pair of AT's and a box of stickers belonging to the Sleeping Forest street gang. One thing leads to another, and Ikki dons the wheels and begins to ride. As his reputation builds in the AT street fighting/racing world, he begins to develop his own gang and participate in more fights, gaining more and more territory. |

This was one of the first anime's i watched and i loved it so much i started watching other anime aswell. (*cringe at how clichéd that line is*)
tl:dr - inspired me to go skating. wanting more episodes. would definitely buy AT's if they were available.
At the time i had not gone on my blades in about a year (they no longer fitted me) and after watching this i was inspired to go out, buy some new blades, and am now as avid skater as ever.
it has been mentioned before, but i also wish there was either another season, or a continuation of this one.
I absolutely love the concept of motorised AT's and i know it may not happen for 50 years, but i was really wishing someone would design a pair of them after watching and during this anime, even if it does take the point out of roller blading as a means of physical exercise (maybe if it used regenerative batteries instead, you would still have to put effort in).
